General terms

Our Terms & Conditions are between BeSalsa and anyone who Registers, buys, or attends any of BeSalsa’s services.

By Using BeSalsa's services you agree with the terms and conditions below.

Stay updated with all matters.

All latest information regarding classes, intensives, schedule, locations, prices, etc,... will be displayed on our website: www.besalsa.com 

In case of discordance of information published on our website www.besalsa.com and any other materials provided over the phone or by email, the information presented on the website will prevail.

Schedule

We reserve the right to change our schedule & instructors by adding or removing without notice. Our website will always show the most updated timetable.

Be safe & healthy 

By using our services you must be both mentally & physically healthy. If you have any doubts, we strongly suggest that you to seek advice from professionals before engaging any type of activity with us.

Our team and other persons we work with are not trained or qualified to evaluate your health status.

Waiver: You understand & voluntarily assume the risks and responsibility of any physical or property damages, losses, or injury that may result from your participation with any of BeSalsa's activities.

User content

Know that we can record and/or photograph sometimes our classes and other events. It is possible that you will appear in these materials. Accepting our terms and conditions means you allow us the unrestricted right and permission to use any and all content/media including, but not limited to our: websites, social media, flyers, banners and videos.

Payment

  • You are responsible for double checking your booking before placing it. We do not offer refunds for change of mind or change of circumstances once a booking has been paid for. BeSalsa services are not refundable. 

  • If a client’s improper use of our online booking services results in a client purchasing the same item twice by mistake, BeSalsa may provide a refund, however will deduct a 5% fee from the refund to cover the transaction fees incurred by the client’s purchase. This is applicable to all types of purchases, including membership instalments.

  • BeSalsa services must be paid in advance with no exception. Any outstanding amounts in your account must be paid prior attending classes or any of our services with BeSalsa, which include but are not limited to: studio hire, group classes, private classes, workshops, bootcamps, intensives, Choreography courses and extra rehearsals.
     

Private classes:

  • Private classes are up to 3 people maximum. The price you pay is per hour, not per person. (You can divide the price between 3 of your friends)

  • Pay online only 20% to start booking your classes. You will pay the difference the 1st day of your lesson to your instructor.

  • Payment of your 3 months membership can happen in 2 times. 50% the 1st month and 50% the 2nd month.

  • All classes need to be payed in advance and only then your private classes will be scheduled and confirmed.

  • Studio fee is not included. This fee is set by the studio and can very depending on the location of the studio.

  • Private lessons are 1 hour in duration and are by appointment only. A 24 hour cancellation policy is in effect. If you don't cancel or reschedule your class 24 hours prior the appointment to info@besalsa.com, you will lose that class.

  • Your private membership is valid the day of your first class. Any classes not take will be lost.

Recurring payments only (not active at the moment)

  • By purchasing online any of BeSalsa services, your credit card/bank account may be charged automatically depending on your purchase. We have the right to charge your credit card at regular intervals until full payment is received. 

  • Monthly payment contract: We will charge your monthly membership fee in advance on the same day each month. 

    • Public holiday: we will debit your nominated account or credit card on the next business day. Debits might take a few days to come out of your account.

    • Your are responsible to make sure your bank account has enough funds so we can charge your membership fees every month.

    • It is your responsibility to tell us if you are transferring or closing your account, at least 48 hours before your next direct debit.

  • Take advantage of our discount rate by paying upfront the total of your membership fee.

  • Valid bank card details need to be provided for the duration of your contract with BeSalsa, including updating if card has expired or is no longer valid. By not providing such update immediately or upon request may result in termination of your contract with all future memberships being paid upfront only.

  • Bank issues?

Don't have sufficient funds to pay your fees on the due date? We will simply suspend your access to classes until your payments are up to date. We will continue to debit your nominated bank account without notice, until we have received the total amount you owe BeSalsa. Should this issue be repetitive, we will contact you and ask you to give us an alternative bank account or credit card for direct debit. 

Prices

Increasing our prices?

In case of discordance of information, our prices are displayed on the website and the prices advertised on our website www.besalsa.com must be considered the correct ones.

We reserve the right to increase our prices without notice at any time. We will try to inform you and all students of such changes in advance via email. If we don’t hear from you, we will consider that you are aware of our the new fees.

Memberships: any price increase will only affect you when signing up for a new contract. Your current one won't be affected.

Auto Renew (not active at the moment)

At the end of your contract, If you do not wish to auto-renew your membership, please let us know at least 7 days before your contract expires. By canceling your auto renewal membership and returning to BeSalsa in the future, you will need to sign a new contract. To upgrade your membership, you will need to sign up for a new contract. All communication regarding auto-renewal must be done via email.

Holidays & Annual Breaks

Class cancellation

BeSalsa reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances, on public holidays, over the period of large industry events. We will do our best to inform class cancelations in advance via our social media and during classes. No discounts or refunds will be offered for cancelled classes but the class will simply be moved to the following week.

Annual breaks:

Winter break - 2 weeks in December: a few days before Christmas and few days after the New Year.

Spring break - 2 weeks in April: following the school holidays.

Summer break -  2 months in July & August.

We run a summer program with a special schedule of classes during 2 months in July & August . All students are welcome.

Note: memberships are not active during the summer program.

Membership pause

Can you put your membership on hold?

  • Dance All Year membership: 1 to 3 months

Please note: memberships on hold are for a full month period (30 days). Suspending your membership for 1 week, 2 weeks,... is unfortunately not possible . Once your suspension time has been activated, it can not be undone. Freezing your membership is possible only if you don't owe us any fees and request it at least 7 working days in advance.

If you'd like to attend any classes, events,... during your suspension time, you can do so by paying our regular prices.

Studio area

Keeping your belongings safe

Do not bring valuable things to our classes. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your belongings while you are at or nearby the studio. We do not storage anything left behind.

Parking

We are not liable for any loss or damage to your vehicle or its contents.

 

Our facilities

You will be responsible for any damage that you or your guests or children cause through a wilful act or negligence.

Break our code of conduct?

We can refuse access to our services to anyone, if you act unreasonably or break the code of conduct. We may refuse your attendance immediately without warning if you behave in a way that is risky or seriously inappropriate, such as: threatening or harassing others, damaging premises, using illegal drugs,... to name a few

BeSalsa reserves the right to update & change our privacy policy. Changes will take effect when published online on our website.

BeSalsa doesn't control and is not responsible for other website links and their content that we might share on our website.

Change of location

We can change the location of the school at anytime. We will give you 7 days notice in writing via email.

 

Change of business name

We reserve the right to change our business name at any time. An email  might be send to explain details of such changes.
